Kundapur, Aug 6: “Attempts are being made to call all state ministers of fisheries in the country and the concerned union ministers for a summit in Bengaluru and bring about a common fisheries policy in the country,” said minister of fisheries and youth empowerment, Pramod Madhwaraj.

Madhwaraj was speaking after acknowledging felicitations and inaugurating a conference of Byndoor and Gangolli zone country boat fishermen at J N R Kala Mandira here on Saturday August 6.

If we get a sincere minister like Shri Madhwaraj, we can expect good things from the government. We need to give our support to such ministers to achieve true peace and prosperity. While I do not take ministers seriously for their promises, as they either forget their promises or ignore them till the next elections, Shri Madhwaraj seems to be an exception. We wish him all the best. May God Bless you Sir.
