Karnataka beats Gujarat to emerge as most investor-friendly state

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru

Bengaluru, Aug 8 : Siddaramaiah-led Karnataka state has become the darling of investors in the country, according to the latest data released by the central government.

So far, Gujarat, was ranked first among all the states until 2015 in terms of interest shown by the investors in their intention to invest. But now, Gujarat has lost its position to Karnataka halfway through this calendar year.

Gujarat has received only Rs 21,309 crore worth of investment intentions during January-June 2016, while Karnataka - which tops the list - has received over thrice that amount, or Rs 67,757 crore to be exact, during the same period.

The centre, which is co-ordinating efforts to rank states on 'ease of doing business', also maintains a state-wise break-up of investment intentions in terms of industrial entrepreneur memoranda filed for de-licensed sector, letters of intent issued and direct industrial licences granted.

Interestingly, the Rs 67,757 crore worth investment intentions received by Karnataka in the first six months of 2016 was more than the Rs 64,733 crore that Gujarat had attracted in the whole of 2015, the year when it topped the all-India list in this regard.

Other leading states in terms of 'investment intentions' during January-June 2016 were Maharashtra (Rs 15,688 crore), Telengana (Rs 13,600 crore) and Chhattisgarh (Rs 8,514 crore). In 2015, the states in the top five after Gujarat were Chhattisgarh (Rs 36,511 crore), Maharashtra (Rs. 33,277 crore), Karnataka (Rs 31,668 crore) and Odisha (Rs 24,524 crore).

Its is really a great news to hear that our state has become no.1 like of the investors.

But I think only b'luru will be the preferred choice of investors. Rather than other two tier cities like mysuru, m'luru, davangere, hubballi- dharwad, shivamoga, belagavi, etc.,

Already b'luru is overcowarded with ppl from all over the world. And it is already spoiled and out of control by the way these ppl behave in the society. Unimaginable.

If industries come also, preference is given only to outsiders especially ppl from outside Karnataka state and also higher positions and the pay package also high than from the local state ppl.

Because of these outside state ppl, cost of living in b'luru is keeping on increasing especially rents, education, traffic, etc.,.

Similarly our state ppl will sacrifice their land for these industries, but job is not given to any local our or state ppl.

If provided also package is provided very less.

So, i like our govt.to first give importance to get jobs to our state ppl then other ppl to given importance and also the two tier cities to be given importance than sticking only to b'luru.

Bangalore is already lost its beauty and it is going pathetic when it rains and the traffic is absolutely disgusting.

Give importance to other cities in the state so the ppl from that region can get jobs and they can stay happily with their family members.

Indeed, the love of Modiji towards to the non-BJP ruled States to make them grow economically is a great virtue of Mr. Modi.

India never had a PM like him spending sleepless nights for the non-BJP States.

India is the 3rd largest rubber consuming nation of the world.
90% of the rubber production of India is from the State of Kerala.
Out of the 33 million people, 54% are Hindus-24% Muslims-19% Christians and the rest belongs to many other religions or no religion.

The rubber price went all the way up Rs.247.00/KG, but plunged to Rs. 87.00/KG at one time. How much the 11 lakh families of Kerala who are associated with the Rubber industry is suffering now? The vast majority of the people who are caught up in this trap are the Hindus. While using the Hindu religious card for political gains, how the BJP/RSS can discard the Hindus of Kerala while dealing with the economic issues? What a double standard? I pity the electorate of Kerala for their blind march behind the north Indian make political party which will fragment the social harmony of Kerala.

Mr. Modi, in order to please the industrilists has kept an open import policy of Rubber which is greatly affecting the majority Hindu population of Kerala. To make the matters worse, two months back there was a news that from Malaysia, the Government of India will be allowing the import of Rubber at a lower tarrif rate.

What you have stated " Under Modi's leadership even sleeping leaders like Siddu can do well". Indeed, Modiji under his great leadership is not sleeping at all so that the non-BJP CMs of other States can sleep soundly and their States are going to be covered with showers of blessings. We are going to watch that reality the BJP ruled States will be ruled by non-BJP political parties in the coming elections.

Recently,Kerala CM,Mr.Pinaray Vijayan met PM,when he complained to him about lack of funds to develop Kerala,Modiji said "Don't worry about that..You develop Kerala..Funds will come" .CM told about this meeting to media when he landed in Kerala..Modiji does not think that it is Congress rule or BJP rue..He thinks that INDIA First..Becasue of PM's good heart,Siddu and his wife could reach Belgium in 24 hours when Rakesh was serious..

Do you know the Patel community working around the world did pour money to Gujarat by the billions? 75% of the hospitality industry in the U.S. is controlled by the Patel community.

You are giving greater glory to Mr. Modi for the no 1 ranking of Karnataka in investment thus reading a blank page. The BJP will try to take credit out of that. Since Karnataka is a far better and safer place for the investors, they will be happy to invest in Karnataka, not by the special affection of Mr. Modi.

He and his party will show favor only for the BJP ruled States not at all the Congress or any other non-BJP ruled States in India. He will do everything for his own State first, that is all. The TATA small car company production was taken away from Bengal to Gujarat, why? He loves Bengal indeed! If Mr. Modi could pluck some big industries from Karnataka, he will be delighted to do so and shift that preferably to Gujarat. But, Gujarat is going to learn her lesson of imperialism. Do you like to invest in Gujarat while the whole State is fragmented politically with the Patel reservation and the Dalit mistreatment issues which is boiling up.

Hearty Congratulations to Karnataka for this great accomplishment.

Blind Bhakts from Karnataka will still support Gujju fake model because they don't care about genuine development, instead they are interested in cow and religion based messy politics.

Gujarat was always a Photo-shopped fake model of development.

Karnataka under INC is doing an extremely good job and is stable compared to the messy bjp rule.

The PM's foreign trips will be limited in the future due to the bad news of persecution of the Dalits and minorities are spreading like wildfire around the world with the semi-naked pictures of the chained Dalits youths begging for life in front of a ruthless crowd enjoying the human torture, the Una drama.
