Mangalore, Nov 29: A book production company was gutted at Baikampady industrial area on Thursday November 29 morning.

Shrathi Printers and Publishers, located at Baikampady Industrial Area, in the outskirts of the city was gutted in a sudden fire.    The city fire brigade received the message at 11.20 am and rushed to the spot and extinguished the fire after struggling for an hour.

The huge stock of paper and printing materials were reduced to ashes and the loss has been estimated at Rs 1.5 lac. The exact cause for fire is not yet known and no casualties have been reported.
