Ganapati suicide- absence of entries in station diaries to favour George, others

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (SP)

Bengaluru, Aug 10: Criminal Investigation Department (CID) officers, who have been investigating allegation made by deputy superintendent of police (DySP), M K Ganapati, before committing suicide that three persons, a minister an two senior police officers, had harassed him, have found that Ganapati had not made any mention about pressure brought on him by higher ups in station diaries.

This point may help former minister, K J George, and senior police officers, Pranav Mohanty and A M Prasad, to get clean chit.

Police officials have the provision to mention about pressure brought on them or any other issues in the station diaries. Sources in CID said that Ganapati had, during his service from 1994 to 2016, never recorded any such harassment in station diaries. If there was a mention in the diaries, the statement made by Ganapati during his interview given to a local channel at Madikeri before ending his life would have got some credence, officials say.

The officials have been looking for documentary proof in support of allegation made by Ganapati. It would be very difficult to rely entirely on verbal statements and allegations.

In the meanwhile, sources said that during the investigation by CID officers at Mangaluru, Ganapati's wife, Pavana, has reiterated that her husband was tormented by George, Prasad, and Mohanty and that harassment meted out by these three had forced her husband to commit suicide.

    Pavan, Bangalore
Mr. Pavan, first of all its now called Bengaluru, even a travel agent abroad knows this, they never issue a ticket if you say Bangalore or Bombay or Madras or Calcutta, get used to Indian names. British have left India way back in year 1947.
Secondly I guess you are a staunch KJ George fan, he is a biggest crook in Karnataka, corrupt and good at accumulating wealth, he will surely get a clean chit and will be reinstated as Bengaluru development minister, so that he can loot more, he is no different to D.K. Shivakumar, Reddy brothers, B.S.Yeddurappa & others.
People like you are so blind, anyway Congress won't be in power after 2018, you bet, and other mob will get in and loot more & trend goes on, Politicians are clever, only voters have to become wise. God knows when that will become.
    Have a nice day.
    Cheers

Without any documentary proof in support of allegation made by Ganapati, how can people arrive at conclusions? Who made you judge? A person who was committed towards development of city, Brought notable changes in development of city in his 8’months of tenure as B’lore Development Minister shouldn’t be defamed like this. Let justice take its own course, Mind there is difference between judging & giving opinions? The statement made by Ganapati during his interview given to a local channel at Madikeri before ending his life was a true evidence of his mental Illness, as bcoz of his deeds he was demoted to lower post. If he ever had any such threats why nothing was mentioned in records? Why nothing came out in his last 22 years of service? Having faith on our judicial system, let truth prevail n K J George comes back as BDM in dis need of hour for NammaCity.

"The Supreme Court has issued new guidelines that dying declaration is not sufficient evidence to indict a person."

In the television interview he is threatening the three people. If tomorrow anything happens to me I am not responsible and also speaks about the church attacks and beating of Christians in Mangalore.

HE FEELS GUILTY OF BEATING THE CHRISTIANS. WHAT WAS THE PURPOSE OF SPEAKING ABOUT CHURCH ATTACKS AND BEATING OF CHRISTIANS AFTER A LAPSE OF 8 YEARS???!!!

DYSP GANAPATI IS A COWARD. HE THREATENED AND SAID THIS GOVERNMENT SHOULD NOT COME. INTAHA SARAKARA BARALE BAARADHU.

IN THE POLICE DUTY/DRESS HE SPEAKS OF BIAS STATEMENTS.

here we go... what a planned investigation and conclusion. His live statements didn't carry any weightage and his lifeless diary has been given weightage. So, in future all the crimes where there is nothing observed or written in diary will be given clean chit... must be in in this Dongi govt. OMG. What an extreme we reached in this world. May be we are at the heights of such inhuman happenings. I am seeing the same direction this Bhaskar Shetty ( Udupi ) is also heading to. Very soon the Queen and the Prince will come out with clean chit and leave a lavish life , built on their bread earner's hard earned money. May be an alarm to all of us... let's think before it's not too late.
