Priyanka to play CIA agent in 'Quantico' Season 2


Mumbai, Aug 11 (IANS): Indian actress Priyanka Chopra, who was seen essaying an FBI agent named Alex Parrish in the first season of American drama series "Quantico", will now portray a CIA agent in the second season of the show.

The 34-year-old star on Wednesday took to Instagram and mentioned that the new season will also come with a "new look" and "new faces".

In the poster, Priyanka features with actor Jake McLaughlin, who plays Ryan Booth in the show. Season 2 of the show will air from September 25.

She captioned the image: "From the FBI to the CIA... Alex Parrish is back! New story, new look and lots of new faces! Season premiere Sept 25th on ABC. Can't wait!"

The former beauty queen will also be seen as a guest judge for season 15 of American TV series "Project Runway", hosted by supermodel Heidi Klum.

Priyanka will join the series as one of the few guest judges on the show, which will air from September. The show focuses on budding designers who are given an opportunity to create a collection for New York Fashion Week.

She will be seen in a negative role in "Baywatch" -- the big screen version of the globally popular TV series featuring Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron.
