Driving a truck not easy: Actor Varun Sharma

Mumbai, Aug 11 (IANS): Actor Varun Sharma, who is driving a truck for a TV show, says handling the vehicle is not as easy as it looks.

In History channel's "Ice Road Truckers, India's Deadliest roads", Varun is seen behind the wheels of a truck as he undertakes a journey from Manali to Siachen.

"Driving a truck is not as easy as it looks. It is too tiring and it takes a toll on you. But all said and done, I am trying my best and I am sure I will be a pro at it soon," Varun said in a statement.

The show is the Indian version of American show "Ice Road Truckers". It features the activities of celebrities who are driving a truck from Manali to Leh on deadly roads while completing the tasks given to them.

Besides Varun, Mandira Bedi and Sangram Singh are also a part of the show.

The "Fukrey" actor, who was last seen on screen in superstar Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol starrer "Dilwale", says he liked the concept of the show.

"I had good two months in hand, so thought why not experiment. I loved the concept of the show and I am sure it will be a different and a wonderful experience," he added.

The actor shared that he has just finished shooting for "Raabta" in Budapest with Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon and will start shooting for "Fukrey 2" soon.
