When Vikram took acting tips from son

Chennai, Aug 13 (IANS): Actor Vikram reportedly sought the advice of his son Dhruv to play one of the roles in his upcoming Tamil action-thriller "Iru Mugan". He plays a secret agent as well as a transgender in the film.

"As a transgender, Vikram plays a character named Love, and it required him to bring some feminine qualities into his performance. Apparently, it was Dhruv who helped his father get every minute detail about the character right," a source from the film's unit told IANS.

Directed by Anand Shankar, "Iru Mugan" also stars Nayanthara and Nithya Menen.

Predominant portions of the film were shot in Malaysia.

Produced by Thameens Films, the film is gearing up for release in September or October.
