Mangaluru, Aug 13: “The Moras family of Kuppepadav will be hosting a platinum birthday celebration for Archbishop of Bengaluru, Dr Bernard Blasius Moras on Tuesday August 16,” announced Joseph Moras, nephew of the archbishop in a press meet on Saturday August 13.
“A thanksgiving mass will be held at 10.00 am on August 16 in the premises of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. Nearly 10 bishops from all over Karnataka will be attending the function.”
“There will be felicitation and a jubilee banquet at 11.30 am. State ministers B Ramanath Rai, U T Khader, MLAs, MP and MLC will be attending the celebration,” he said.
Moras Foundation Trust set up by the Moras family in support of the parish will also be inaugurated on the occasion.
Anthony Swamy, Cruz Moras, Edrick Pinto and Vijay Moras were present at the press meet.
