The police have got to know that Numan, who was employed at Dubai, took the lead in making this plan a success. When employed in a super market at Dubai, Numan used to handle hundreds of credit cards. It is said that he copied details of many cards from there, prepared fake credit cards, and defrauded the concerned. During his visit to his native place too, Numan continued to defraud by using cards in the town, Ernakulam etc. He then went to Pune and  stayed in a luxury hotel with his companions there. On getting these details, the police conveyed this information to Pune police, after which the accused were nabbed.

Although it is said that the team had plans to commit similar frauds in Mumbai exact details will come to the fore once the entire investigation is concluded.
