Kundapur, Aug 15: An auto rickshaw driver in Kundapur has shown his honesty by returning a bag to the passenger that contained cash, jewellery and a mobile phone.

Vignesh Nayak from Kharvikeri, a rickshaw driver operating from new bus stand here is the person who did the noble act.

Noor, his wife and children were proceeding to Basrur and took Vignesh’s auto rickshaw from Kundapur Junior College on Saturday, August 13. They left the bag containing valuables in the auto while they got down at Basrur.

Vignesh came back without knowing that the bag was left there. When he was looking for a rope to tie the flag for the Independence Day, he saw the bag lying behind. He immediately told his brother-in-law Raviraj Kharvi and then they together informed the police about it. Meanwhile the Noor family came back to the rickshaw stand and enquired about the whereabouts of auto of Vignesh and subsequently complained to the police as they did not get sufficient information.

Police arranged to handover the bag to the rightful owner. Noor family was happy to receive the bag intact. They also appreciated the honesty showed by Vignesh.

The bag contained expensive mobile, 5 sovereigns of gold chain and Rs 2,000.

Vignesh...great deed indeed. We need to learn a lot from Vignesh. We call ourselves educated and fight in the name of religion/caste/creed on this forum. Good deed by Vignesh is an eye opener. We have many samaritans in our society and they should be awarded.

    Good act.
In fact this should be the normal way of life in any civil society.
If you visit Europe and tell someone that you lost your belongings in a public place by mistake, they dont even understand how it can happen. According to common man there, if the goods belong to you, there is no chance for anyone else to take them.
That is the culture our country should aim at in a long run.

Honesty and being truthful makes a human superior to all.

Auto Driver Vignesh Nayak did an applauding job. No matter whether the amount is worth of crores or just few Rupees, what stand the most is the honesty. Such behaviour and act of a human get noticed and remain in hearts of others for a longer period.

None of the good job of human go waste. Surely God will one fine day reward His blessings on him in this worldly life as a return for his good deed. The blessings doesn't necessarily mean only monetary benefits. It can be peace and happiness in his life, it can be a protection of his life from any untoward incidents etc etc.

Keeping doing more and more such good acts Mr. Vignesh Nayak. Indeed applies to we all.
