Mangalore: ‘Big 92.7 FM’ - All Set to Begin Transmission in City from Dec 6

Mangalore, Dec 5: The ‘Big 92.7 FM’, a FM radio from Adlabs Films Ltd, was launched in the city on Wednesday December 5. This is the 39th FM station by ‘Big 92.7 FM’ Group.
RJ Sumesh, Raghavendra, Deepu, Arvind and well-known Tulu playwright, actor and director, Devdas Kapikad launched this channel at Hotel Taj Manjuran on Wednesday by releasing 927 balloons in the air.
Speaking to media persons, Arvind of ‘Big 92.7 FM’, said that this FM will start its programme with the message of Dr D Veerendra Heggade, Dharmadhikari of Shri Kshetra Dharmasthal at 6 am on Thursday December 6. No doubt, this FM will be entertaining the music lovers to a greater extent, he assured.
Speaking on this occasion, Devdas Kapikad said that he will be entertaining the listeners through his ‘Gadbad with Devdas Kapikad’ which would be transmitted between 5 pm to 7 pm everyday. His selection as host for this programme has been in recognition of his contributions to Tulu drama, he opined.
The FM will be broadcasting ‘Suprabhata’ (message by Dr D Veerendra Heggade) from 6 am to 7 am, ‘Big Kudla’ (breakfast show which is informative and entertaining with a daily dose of astrology by Sumesh) from 7 am to 11 am, ‘Churumburi’ (show for women about home truths, Sandalwood and Bollywood gossips by Raghavendra) from 11 am to 3 pm, ‘Mangalore Bandi’ (out- board show where the jockey goes out to interact with public and play fun games to bring a smile on their face) from 3 pm to 5 pm, comedy show by Devdas Kapikad from 5 pm to 7 pm, Request Show hosted by a Big Radio jockey from 7 pm to 9 pm, Love Maadi Nodu (a programme for those who are in love, who think about love and who suffered heart-breaks, from 9 pm to 11 pm everyday.
