Los Angeles, Aug 23 (IANS): Actress Jona Xiao has joined the cast of fantasy sci-fi film “Spider-Man: Homecoming”.
Xiao will be featuring in the film opposite actors Tom Holland, Marisa Tomei and Michael Keaton, reports variety.com.
Jon Watts is directing the film from a script written by “Vacation” helmers John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein.
“Spider-Man: Homecoming” is being produced by Amy Pascal and Kevin Feige.
Other actors who have joined the cast include Hannibal Buress, Logan Marshall-Green, Donald Glover, Zendaya and Tony Revolori.
The details of the plot are still guarded as is Xiao's character.
Holland is playing Peter Parker and Tomei will portray Aunt May, while Keaton is on board for the role of a villain.
