UAE, Aug 23: JAKC (Jebel Ali Assisi Konkani Community) is all set to celebrate ‘Monti Fest’ (Nativity of the Blessed Mother Mary) on September 8 at 8:00 pm in the St Francis of Assisi Church, Jebel Ali with high mass in Konkani followed by ‘Showers of flowers’ offered by the children of JAKC to Mother Mary on her birthday.
The festive mass will be followed by scrumptious buffet vegetarian dinner in the Mangalorean cuisine and tradition with sweet vorne.
Novena:
In preparation for the Monti Fest, nine-day novena will start from August 30 at 7.30 pm.
All are invited for the novena and the Monti Fest.
