Udupi, Aug 24: The ABVP activists gathered at Clock tower on Wednesday, August 24 and shouted slogans against Amnesty International, the United Theological College and State government. They also demanded an immediate ban on Amnesty International for anti slogans against nation and Indian army.
Condemning the act of state government towards Amnesty International, Santhosh said, “We do not want selfish patriotism. We want true and selfless patriotism.”
Condemning state home minister, he further said, “G Parameshwar behaves as if he is powerless. As a home minister, he has all the power to take action against those who shouted slogans against nation and Indian army.”
“Even after ten days, no one has been arrested and no FIR has been filed. ABVP activists will not compromise with any principles against nation. The members of ABVP are always ready to sacrifice themselves for nation.”
Speaking on the occasion, Vijeth said, “ABVP will fight against anti-nationals and won’t allow any traitors without punishment. If the government does not take action against separatists, the Vidyarti Parishat will teach a lesson to them. We will not hesitate to decapitate the heads of ant-nationals.”
The ABVP activists demanded immediate arrest of culprits who shouted slogans against India and Indian army.
The protesters also demanded to file a case against Amnesty and the case to be handed over to the National Investigation Agency (NIA).
ABVP leader Deeraj and Rahul among others were present.
