Dubai: ‘Udyavarites’ Celebrate Grand Patron Fest

Dubai, Dec 7: It was all ‘Udyavarites' Day, for those who reside in the UAE from Udyavar parish of Mangalore Diocese.
A fun-filled day started around 12.30pm on Friday, December 7, at Karama Hotel, here. The event began with welcome dance by Jovita D'Sa. The veteran Master of Ceremony, Donny Correa welcomed the gathering to give a glittering start to the event.
There after, it was full of entertainment one after the other.
Children’s games, games for couple, spot prizes, songs, dance, and live music gave perfect weekend entertainment to the gathered crowds from Udyavar, their families and families.
Tapori dance, skits have added spark to the occasion.
Moreover, the centre of attraction was 'Jibli Jilli' Konkani comedy play written by Melvyn Pernal, themed on moral value enthralled the audience while all the actors received thunderous applause for their performance.
The event concluded with ‘Bingo’ and ‘Baila’ dance.
