Bengaluru, Aug 28: In a weird incident, a youth entered the house of a woman during the daytime and injured her by biting her cheeks. The incident was reported here and the victim is a woman of Darjeeling origin.

The youth has been identified as Sunil from Sirsi in Uttara Kannada district. He was working in a hotel in city.

As per details, the woman is a divorcee and was staying in an apartment with her sister. Sunil was also staying in the same apartment building. On the afternoon of August 25, the woman was sleeping after her lunch and was alone at the house. She had forgotten to lock the door from inside. During this time, Sunil entered the house and started biting her cheeks at once. Though the woman showed resistance, Sunil managed to injure her and escaped from the place.

Sunil left his mobile phone at the house while escaping in a hurry. Police traced the culprit’s work place with the help of mobile phone. According to the hotel owner, where Sunil was working, he had not come for work since last one week.

HAL police have registered a complaint, and are on the lookout for the accused.
