Dubai, Dec 8: ‘Udentichim Neketram’ The Moodbidri Varado Catholic Association convened its Annual General Meeting & elected its Managing Committee for the year 2008-09.

The election ceremony formally commenced with a short prayer followed by the tabling of the Accounts Statement & the Minutes of the preceding year.

A large number of members took part in the election and witnessed the eventuality. The Electoral Process was conducted by Ullas Fernandes, Siddakatte and finally the session was concluded with a vote of thanks by the outgoing President Arun D’Costa who thanked & expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Ex-Managing Committee & all the Association Members for their partnership and support during his tenure as an Office Bearer.


The newly elected Office Bearers are as under:

President  : Melwin Cardoza, Taccode
Vice President  : Praveen Sequiera, Siddakatte
Gen.Secretary  : Valerian Pereira, Shirtady
Joint Secretary  : Supriya Sequiera, Siddakatte
Treasurer  : Walter Sequiera, Siddakatte
Asst.Treasurer  : Lawrence Cardoza, Belvai
