Won't return to direction until I introduce 10 directors: Sasikumar

Chennai, Aug 31 (IANS): Actor-filmmaker Sasikumar, who has so far introduced six directors over the last few years, says he won't return to direction until he introduces four more directors.

"With my forthcoming release 'Kidaari', I'm introducing sixth new director to the industry. My next film is also with a debutant director. Before I return to direction, I want to introduce three more directors to make the total count to ten," Sasikumar told IANS.

Sasikumar made his directorial debut with 2008 critically-acclaimed Tamil drama "Subramaniapuram".

Since his 2010 Tamil directorial thriller "Easan", he's been busy with acting assignments. He says he has committed to two more projects.

"My recent injury kept me out of action for nearly six months. I couldn't work on projects I was supposed to and they subsequently got pushed. I need to finish them first before even thinking of calling the shots again," he said.

"Kidaari", directed by Prasath Murugesan, is slated to hit the screens on Friday.
