Bengaluru, Aug 31: The cold war between BJP leaders, former chief minister, B S Yeddyurappa, and K S Eshwarappa, over the issue of 'Hinda' organization being started by Eshwarappa under 'Sangolli Rayanna Brigade', took an interesting turn with Yeddyurappa deciding to stymie the ambitions of Eshwarappa by organizing separate meets.

It is not a secret that Yeddyurappa is opposed to senior leader and former minister, Eshwarappa's association with the brigade. Eshwarappa has planned meet of the brigade at Kudalasangama during January next. Before that, Yeddyurappa has planned two programmes on behalf of the BJP, one on October 23 at Lingusugur town in Raichur district, where meet of scheduled tribes will be held. On November 27, state level backward classes meet till be held in the city. For both these meets, it is planned to bring together one to one and half lac people.

The party will use these platforms to spread details about programmes implemented during the period of Yeddyurappa as chief minister for the welfare of backward classes and dalits and the amount of grants released, towards winning over the hearts of backward classes and scheduled communities.

The scheduled tribes meet is being held in Raichur district, which houses maximum number of scheduled tribes people. President of BJP's ST Morcha, and former minister, Raju Gowda, belongs to this district. The meet of backward classes is being planned in the city to affectively counter the plans of chief minister, Siddaramaiah's 'Ahinda' and Eshwarappa's 'Hinda'.

Speaking about the differences at the meeting of office bearers of BJP Morchas concerned, Yeddyurappa asked the party activists not to get disturbed by developments created by the actions of certain leaders (Eshwarappa). He said that there is no need to be confused, as party top leadership is closely observing every development. "Let us assert what we had done through these meets," he told them.
