Bantwal, Aug 31: In an incident which occurred at Darbe near the town on Tuesday August 30, a person who had recently married, committed suicide. As per information, he was going through a lean patch financially.
Santosh Poojary (32), son of Bhujanga Poojary from Darbe, had married about ten months back. Poojary, it is said, was facing financial constraints since long and was going through depression on this account. Efforts to recover from the situation had failed and financial crisis had mentally drained him, as per information.
Poojary was seen hanging from a tree near Karambade Mahamaya temple. He had used his lungi to hang himself.
