Mangaluru, Aug 31: All College Student Association (ACSA) under the leadership of state president Dinakar Shetty submitted a memorandum to Dr C B Vedamurthy, additional superintendent of police seeking protection for women officers in state on Wednesday, August 31.

Speaking to media persons, Dinakar Shetty said, “There have been many incidents of harassment on women officers in different departments in recent days. PSI Revathi incident has created adverse effect on the younger generation who aspire to join IPS or IAS. The government should immediately pull back the resignation of PSI Revathi and reinstate her to service.”

“Strict action should be taken against those officials who harassed her. The government by taking necessary action should boost the morale of police officers in the state. Thus we have submitted a memorandum to the government through the senior officials. If the government does not provide justice to the officer then all college student association will get down on the streets and protest,” he said.

ACSA office bearers Raghuveer Sutarpete, Danush Shetty, Sheilesh Kotian, Rithesh Devadiga, Tushar, Anisha Rao and others were present.
