Chris Brown moves on from arrest controversy

Los Angeles, Sep 1 (IANS): Singer Chris Brown is trying to move on with his music after being arrested for allegedly pointing a gun in a woman's face at his $4 million home here.

The 27-year-old singer was charged with assault with a deadly weapon following a stand-off at his Tarzana residence here in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

Brown, who has denied any wrongdoing, has released a short video clip on Instagram just a day after his arrest, reports mirror.co.uk.

He said he's going to "turn the other cheek" to the recent drama and focus on releasing new music.

A new video, shared on Wednesday, shows Brown -- who maintains his innocence and was released on a $250,000 bail -- addressing the drama.

He said: "Yo. You know all this bulls**t that has been going on man? I am just going to turn my cheek and drop some music."

Meanwhile, it's been reported that the singer could face up to 14 years behind bars if he's found guilty of assault with a deadly weapon.
