Udupi, Sep 1: A 32 years old man was found dead in a lodge here on Thursday, September 1.
Ismail Hanifsab Mitayigara from Mundagod in Uttara Kannada district is the person deceased.
As per details Ismail had come to a lodge at Kadiyali on August 29. After that, nobody is sure when he was last seen. On Thursday foul smell started to come from the room. The hotel staff got suspicious and informed police. The door was opened in the presence of police.
Ismail had used a bed sheet to hang himself.
Police sources said that they have some information that Ismail committed suicide due to debts he had. But police are yet to verify this fact.
