Shivamogga: 'Rayanna Brigade aims at teaching lesson to Congress' - Eshwarappa

Daijiworld Media Network - Shivamogga (SP)

Shivamogga, Sep 2: Leader of the opposition in legislative council, K S Eshwarappa, clarified that 'Sangolli Rayanna Brigade' is being set up in the state to teach Congress a lesson. He compared the shaping of this organization to the birth of Lord Krishna to annihilate demon Kamsa.

Speaking to media persons here on Thursday September 1, he said that backward classes and dalits are not bonded to any one party. "Congress, which hitherto was under the impression that support of backward classes and dalits to them was assured, are now feeling threatened at the setting up of this organization. Therefore, all Congress leaders including chief minister, Siddaramaiah, have been issuing one statement after the other with each passing day," he added.

He asked Congress to list out the tasks they had taken up during the the three and half years they are in power.

When he was questioned about BJP state president, Yeddyurappa's initiatives to organize separate meets of backward people, he felt that such meets will strengthen the party. Welcoming this move, he said they will help leaders to understand the problems of scheduled castes and tribes and take up their problems with the government.

Sangolli Rayanna Brigade to teach a lesson to the Congress! What a joke? Eshwarappa is a Kuruba. He must be one of the few Kurubas with the BJP. After the recent murders while the Billavas have shifted from the BJP a chunk of the Bunts are gradually realising the folly of supporting a party that is causing restlessness in the country and the region. Minorities have not been with the BJP. Even the section of the Dalits are moving out. Eshwarappa has to first put his house in order to teach a lesson to anybody. A reconciliation with Yeddy won't be a bad idea though that may not make him a Chief Minister. The other option is to join the Congress. They may not offer him the CM's chair but may make him a Minister. Since BJP is unlikely to revive that is a better option for Eshwarappa.

BJP already proved they are not fit governing, and in BJP everyone wants CM post,if they come to power again same 2007 - 2011 history repeats. And this Eshwarappa's aim is not teach lesson to Cong ,his aim is only teach lesson to Yeddy and BJP and get the publicity.

In this era of BJP ruling, there is no end to 'Sena' and 'Brigade' being born every new calendar month.

Rayana Brigade is now now entertainer. It's only motive is to teach lessons to Congress.

I hope Kannadiga will quick to learn lessons from rest of India. Hope Karnataka will not burn like Muzzafarnagar or Godhra for BJP's grand preparation for assembly election.

Yes, we agree Yeddi is the last hope before Karnataka is d BJP Mukth in the state. Eshy will not let Yeddi to have one good day and many sleepless nights before the 2017 elections.

May be Eshy should write a book about himself, his sacrifices, major accomplishments and have a large gathering to release the book.

Your sugar quoted plea "Minorities too plz vote bjp. You get good luck" needs to be further elaborated and expanded in BJP Manifesto so that we understand what is expected and steps taken to deliver for which accountability can be established. Good try with SMILEY face which must have made you happy.

There is lot of hurt and a long road ahead within people from minority and BJP should take steps to start the healing process by stopping or at least minimizing all known ways where peoples sentiments are damaged or hurt.

Why minorities? Peace loving hindu's won't vote for BJP in Karnataka. Karnataka voters have seen misrule of BJP that marred with corruption, communal violence, criminal activities and fighting for power. We don't want BJP to rule Karnataka any more. Though I am not Congress supporter, at current situation Congress is the best hope for Karnataka. Unfortunately BJP is misleading people and communal minded bhakths disturb peace in the society. This will not last longer. People are not fools anymore.
