I do not watch movies at all.But I like Konkani music, love Konkani language. As I was listening to songs of Ek aslyar..felt that the language was something like Konkani but flavour of Konkani was sadly missing...

Producing a movie in Konkani is a adventure in that respect i congratulate the Producer,Director and the entire crew. Let me be loud and clear this is a average movie. Characters, Story line and Locations are poor (very poor) Music is average lyrics are good, comedy is out dated.
I feel before venturing into movies, producer and director should gain some basic knowledge of the industry. Except the Goan Comedian all other roles don't fit to act in a movie. Remember there is difference between a Drama and a movie, in this case i felt a drama is pictured. Hero is drastically failed.
Efforts are praise worthy, hope in future team will take care and come out with better productions. Wish you all the best.

It was show of lot of effort to make movie in Konkani. But the item number was horrible and vulgar to show as family movie and made me very sad. It took all the good efforts done in the movie.

Friends lets not Compare our konkani movies . Our producers Directors are trying to bring our Konkani movies into film industries Amchi Mai bas, they need our support.
Mangalore Konkani movies are been watched by only Konakni people That means Mangaloreans/Udupi Who speak konkani. Even GSB Konakni will not watch.Sorry to say this because the accent differs. But when a tulu /Kannada movi is released everyone watches . When a Gaon movi releases only Goans or some mangaloreans watch. So we showed keep in mind that the Producer has to think about budget.Lets support . After how many years are konkani movies releasing. Its Mr. Frank & some of our konkani producers directors who are bringing konkani into flims. We have two mvies konkani movies relased in short span, So it is a good news for us. So i wish more konkani movies to come with goos scrpit . We have lots of konkani artist. We atch just for 2/3 hrs but the effort taken to make a movie its really a hard work & dedication.
Hip Hip Hurray to our Mai bas

Heard this was a super hit movie in social media when it was released in gulf region. Had high expationes on this movie as read in some social media. But this movie is just a normal movie not like other movie which was released in konkani recently. May be it was a good movie to people in Gulf because they get very less opportunity to watch konkani movies there. As it was the first movie released in gulf it might be good for them. But after watching few other movies in konkani the producer could have done a better job for this movie. Hero in this movie is not up to the mark very cold reacation and expression. No proper make up in the movie. Few editing erros in the movies. But it was just a normal one not a trend setter as mentioned below from few. Jokes are not new heard it in many places.

They should have ensured other previous movie in Prabhat (I heard its good) runs for little more time (Nashibaso Khel) . Same Prabhat theatre another Konkani movie is getting screened in a so short span of time. Probably this is also good but theres so little market and now we are competing within ourselves? In the process which movie will gain? Only time will tell ! Theres no market to run both movies to run together unless both of them are really far extraordinay ! whatever said & done I really wish both will run successfully. All the best
