No song by Atif in Onir's film upsets many

Mumbai, Sep 3 (IANS): Filmmaker Onir, known for directing films like "My Brother... Nikhil" and "Bas Ek Pal", is excited about releasing songs by singers including Arijit Singh for "Shab". But some of the fans of Atif Aslam are upset as there is no song by the singing sensation of Pakistan in the upcoming film.

Onir had recently tweeted that they are shooting three promotional music videos for the film, which has songs by Mohammed Irfan, KK and Mithoon as well.

One of the Twitter users wrote: "Onir, it's very sad to hear that there is no song of Atif Aslam. I expect a new song of Atif Aslam in Shab movie."

The filmmaker replied saying: "I am also sad, but did not work out. Will have his presence in terms of old songs though."

When a few more asked about a new song by Atif in the film, Onir wrote: "I am trying one last time to make it work. I will say yes or no within a week."

The movie has been widely shot in Delhi, and features Raveena Tandon.
