Puttur: Lorry rams into jeep, one dies, six injured

Puttur, Sep 3: A young man lost his life in a tragic accident between a lorry and jeep at Golithottu in Puttur taluk here on Saturday August 3.

The deceased is identified as Chidananda Acharya (31) who worked for a jewellery shop at Nelyadi. Six people have been injured in the accident. They were taken to private hospital at Puttur.

The lorry was coming towards Mangaluru and the jeep was going to Nelyadi from Uppinangadi.
Police case stands registered at Puttur traffic police station.
