Mangaluru: Narco analysis for Naresh Shenoy? Baliga family lawyer gets threat

Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru (SP)

Mangaluru, Sep 5: An application has been moved in the sessions court here seeking to subject Naresh Shenoy, prime accused in the case pertaining to murder of RTI activist, Vinayak Baliga on March 21 this year, to narco analysis to bring out the truth. Shenoy, presently lodged in judicial custody, has been trying to secure bail.

The application was moved by father of Vinayak Baliga, Ramachandra Baliga. Hearing of the application was held on Saturday. The court is expected to pronounce its order on narco analysis test on September 13.

In the meanwhile, it is said that advocate for Baliga family, Asha Nayak, has been receiving telephonic threats from Singapore. She has decided to complain to the city police commissioner about these threats.

NAMO founder will evade justice by all means threat, money or political pressure.

His prosecution will certainly dent the image of BJP in the region, which in turn will drag some prominent elected members vote deposits.

RSS political front BJP will never let go easily.

I am pitty with lat Baliga and his age old parents. This case already is being RIP.

Naresh shenoy will walk free with another 'Bisleri' bottle like ad campaigner posing picture for media.

This is already weakened by bails grants. There is huge nexus between law enforcement, politics, religious head and lawyers.

I'm sure this is nothing new to Asha Nayak. She is a brave woman. She is a seasoned criminal lawyer. I wish her and Baliga family the very best to nail the criminal Naresh Shenoy

First of all I would like to congratulate Mrs. Asha Nayak , a true pearl among Mangalore Bar Council. This is my personal experience , some 14 years back. She was not behind money, but behind truth. It's a worst situation today ,some people are trying to buy everything including legal system. ...! A threat from far east or West can't change Asha Mai's bold and strong challenge against antisocial ,murderers.Long live Nayak couples. !
