Beltangady, Sep 5: A person ended his life by jumping into a well on Sunday September 4 at Aladangady village in the taluk.

The person who committed suicide happened to be Dwarakanath (66), a resident of Panjoli House of Badagakarandur village.

His body was found floating in the well on Sunday morning. His family members guess that he would have taken this extreme step because of failing health. On the basis of a complaint filed by Sukesh, son of the deceased, a case was registered at Venoor police station.
