Bantwal: 24-year-old youth drowns in Netravathi River

Bantwal, Sep 5: A young man drowned in River Netravathi on Monday, September 5 at Kaikunje near here.

Rajnikanth (24) is the person deceased. As per reports, he is from Nanthoor in Mangaluru city and was a student of Srinivasa College.

Rajnikanth went to have bath in River Netravathi at Kaikunje in the evening of Monday with his friends. While they had bath, Rajnikanth drowned as he could not gauge the depth of water at a particular place.

Bantwal town police inspector Nanda Kumar and police personnel visited the place, it is gathered.
