Kundapur: Ganesh Chaturthi celebrated with gaiety in taluk

Kundapur, Sep 5: Ganesh Chathurthi festival was celebrated all over Kundapur taluk on Monday, September 5 with pomp and gaiety. Devotees flocked to the main Ganapathi temples in large numbers in the absence of rain. 

Kaup MLA Vinay Kumar Sorake, Byndoor MLA K Gopala Poojary and other VIPs visited Ganapati temples in Anegudde and Hattiangadi and conveyed their best wishes to people on the occasion.

Public programmes are being held in the taluk to celebrate the festival. Temples at Guddattu Jaladiwasi, Belooru, Maravanthe Arehole were crowded with devotees.

Kundapur traffic police station staff regulated traffic and Kundapur SI Nasir Hussain maintained law and order under the leadership of Kundapur DySP.
