Bhatkal:Short termination of service on Konkan Railway route due to derailment

Bhatkal, Sep 6: Due to derailment of 2 wagons of a goods train between Ankola and Gokarna stations in Madgaon- Mangalore section of Karwar region in Konkan Railway, the route stands closed temporarily.

Mangaluru Madgaon DEMU train has been terminated at Udupi and Mangalore Passenger has been terminated at Karwar while Madgaon - Mangalore Intercity, Mangalore Junction- Mumbai CSTM Express, Mangalore-Lokmanya Tilak, Matsyagandha Express and Ernakulum -Pune Express services remain rescheduled until further orders.

Repair work on the affected tracks in on.
