People who are interested in this regard and wish to strengthen communal harmony should not be from any known communal/hate groups like Komu Sauhardha Vedike etc., because people have seen their true faces at times. Those who are interested to be in the news also should be kept out of the ambit.Let the initiative be one non political....

A big question. Few so called leaders in dias are not having any permanent incom, job or any business. Is this an opportunity to make ur living with collecting fund.

Literally few unemployed are buzy in creating troubles in both way.

This is a nice way to make living.. so easy. Ull get fund smoothly by presenting colourful programmes.

Work hard, make ur living by own, take care of your family by your own . "Manege maari, oorige upakaari"

Appreciate the effort. we, Mangaloreans need to set an example for others. We need to unite and work towards smart city. let us love each other and live for one another. Nothing is impossible. It is nothing but the ego clash and the rivalry created by the politicians in order to retain their power and chair spoils the environment. Let us stay united and work towards a better city for better living and make a way for peaceful and joyful living for the next generation.

Communal Harmony in Mangalore is not a new idea. There was a group of people who worked together some decades ago under the leadership of Dr. Habib Rehman. Late Father Ronnie Prabhu was a prominent member of the group.

I must congratulate the present leaders on their excellent initiative to revive the idea of communal harmony and imbibe the present generation with the concept of living peacefully.

None of the religions preach hatred and therefore in the present world of today leaders like these who have come forward to get people together should be encouraged and supported. I am glad that Our present Police Commissioner has accepted to be among the peace loving people to foster the idea of living peacefully together.

In this world which is divided because of various reasons one should take into consideration the fact that none of the leaders of the religions spoke or fostered hate of any kind. Looking back one can perceive the concepts of Allah, Rama, Christ, Budda, Mahavir. All of them preached and practiced the VIRTUE OF PEACEFUL LIVING.

I join scores of people in congratulating the leaders of this group and wish them every success in their mission. May this idea of PEACEFUL COEXISTENCE PREVAIL AND SPREAD.

This is a very good initiative by the secular minded organizations for harmony in the society. Unity in Diversity is our Strength. Don't allow the extremists destroy it. Let us all 'live and let live' with love and inter dependent because "madhab nahi sikaata aapsme baid karna" Jai Hind.

no need to blame anybody. i bet things never become normal in india or nor in the world hereafter. for that people should recognise all religions equal and moreover respect the same. where ever they lives keeping there religion aside and to be given more prominence to national interest to unite country.

The attempt may be a result of fall out of initiative by RSS people extended to Christian religious leaders on the occasion of Ganesh Chathurthi at Sangha Nikethan.....
My personal wish that any member from Komu Sauhardha Vedika should not be included in the programme as we know their birth itself was based on hatred......So better start on good and free fair motives without bias intention.
