Udupi, Sep 7: Aleemabi (75), resident of Chokkady near Katapadi in the taluk committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling fan of her room on Monday night. Her family members said that she was frustrated by personal problems.

A case relating to the incident was filed at Kaup police station.

Parvathi Shedthi (52) ended her life by preparing a noose and hanging from the ceiling fan at her residence in the police quarters here on Tuesday evening. A case about this suicide was filed at town police station here.
