Bengaluru: Siddaramaiah frustrated by outbursts of Janardhana Poojary

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (SP)

Bengaluru, Sep 9: At the meeting of the party coordination committee held on Thursday September 8, state chief minister (CM), Siddaramaiah, is learnt to have expressed frustration at the way senior leader, Janardhana Poojary, and former MP, H Vishwanath, have been passing negative comments about his functioning frequently and seeking his resignation.

Raising the topic at the meeting, the CM said that these two leaders have even sought his resignation in his presence and that he is hurt by such developments.

Karnataka state in-charge of Congress affairs, Digvijay Singh, suggested to Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee to take disciplinary action against any leader irrespective of his eminence or stature, whenever they openly issue statements or make criticism against the party or its leadership. He said that there are complaints about such leaders using the platform of district Congress committee offices to express their ire, duly adding that party offices should not be provided for their use.

Sources said that Singh said that complaints and criticisms can be discussed in the party forum, and that issuance of public statements attract disciplinary action from disciplinary committee. Noting that the committee has so far not taken this step, he asked the committee members to meet often, take note of such developments and initiate action promptly.

These days Janardhana Poojary seems to be more BJP man in Congress.

No week passes without 'Mangalore press club' meet has called to criticize his own government.

Congress will suffer in Congressman's own hand.

In any organization dissent from within is tolerated if it is expressed within party or any organizations' established forums. It is surprising to find Mr Poojary using the party office to hurl abuses to his party CM. Can this be tolerated? Poojary should quietly retire. He has enjoyed power for decades and now should fade out from politics.

(by the way i am not a supporter of any corrupt political party this is just my observation ) now congress has to throw out all these old , useless, rejected, ....... like oscar fernandez , and janardhana poojary , they are the ones responsible for the down fall of congress and they are the ones who were playing dirty politics within the congress ,
being mps for several times they have not done any development of our districts.
even they are not allowing and promoting young and honest(not completely honest) leaders in to politics.

What will Dongi Putgosi High command do! Their situation with Poojary is like hot ghee in mouth. Can't spit it or swallow It. If it takes any action against Poojary, they will loose a chunk of Billawa votes in DK. Congress mukth DK will be ensured before th election itself because no matter whatever or however we ridicule Our Poojary for his loose tongue irrespective of which party we support its true that his record is clean and one for vouch for his honesty and he has a significant community support as in his days of power he has helped them( even though attempted to pit them against bunts to some extent )especially during his SaalaMela gimmick that ruined many banks and careers of managers who's main beneficiaries were his people.

It seems like what Mr B J Poojari was done in the previous Lok Sabha Elections secretly, now he is doing publicly. He helped Mr Kateel for his great victory. He is not now BJP (B Janardhana Poojari) But he is now BJP (Barathiya Janata Party). He is always negative with minister Khader,CM. though they are doing better than other CMs/Ministers

One of the reasons why Congress is going down in every state is while also not having a visionary leader at the center in the states like Karnataka the senior leaders fight among themselves. I think Poojary wants to be the CM the reason why he is trying to pull the rug under thefeet of the current CM.

of course you will feel frustrated while some one commenting on your stupid steps and behavior. You will feel more because you are just doing stupid stuffs and people like Poojary who are straight forward in their comments ( irrespective of their party ) ,they will comment. Poojary is the only leader at Mangalore who is standing with the people... irrespective if it's Yethinahole project, nethravathi rever issue, local protests when ever there is any injustice for the district people... Now this Siddu and his entire team working all anti-society initiatives and hence get lot of comments from people like Poojary. No wonder. It will stop when Congress is chased away from the state as well as from the country.
