Kundapur: Magnificent bike show sends people to a different world

Kundapur, Sep 11: As a part of Jaycee Week, a bike show was organized by the Junior Chamber International (JCI), Kundapur at Bhandarkars College premises on the evening of Saturday September 10.

Bikes with prices as high as Rs 10 lac were showcased in the show. The show thrilled and amazed the audience who gathered there. Local cars and bikes were the centre of attraction.

The programme was inaugurated by the administrator of Academy of General Education, Dr H Shantharam. College committee members Shantharam Prabhu, Yajnesh Prabhu; college principal, Dr N P Narayana Shetty; pre university college principal, G M Gonda; businessman, Musthafa; Sathish Poojary; Karthikeya Madyastha; JCI founder president Hussein Haikadi; Bindu Thangappan; junior J C president, Swapnil Thangappan; Preethi Thangappan and others were present.

A team of stuntmen from Mangaluru performed various stunts. The enlivened audience whistled and cheered them on, as the stunts continued. The show which started in the evening, continued to enthrall everyone present till night.

    What is glaringly observed is that one of the riders is not wearing a helmet. The feature should not be at the cost of lives.

    At one time I too was a keen motor cyclist and have traversed long distances on my bike. Being a keen enthusiast I am thrilled to see the performance of the riders.

    Mind blowing bike show. It must have been a thrilling event. The team of stunt-men performed the events very well. It was unbelievable. Thanks to all the organizers and also to Slyvester D'Souza for the photo coverage.
