Bangalore: Priyanka Chopra Launches 'Spice Local Lingo’ Service

Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra, brand ambassador of Spice Telecom, launched 'Spice Local Lingo’, a service of sending SMS in any of the twelve Indian languages, here on Thursday December 13.

Fashion Show was held at Hotel Le Meriden for the customers and media during the launch.  Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra too walked the ramp along with other models.
 
Spice telecom, Karnataka's premium and innovative service provider along with its brand ambassador Priyanka Chopra, leading Bollywood actress launched ‘Spice Local Lingo’; a messaging service that allows one to send and receive SMS in any of the Indian languages. This service can be downloaded on all java-enabled phones and allows customers the luxury of choosing languages such as Kannada, Hindi, Oriya, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Marati, Assamese, Gujarati, Bengali and Urdu.

Speaking on the occasion, Navin Kaul, CEO, Spice telecom said 'We are extremely happy to introduce this unique service for the customers. We believe that communicating in one's mother tongue is much convenient and exciting as it enables a person to be more expressive’.
 
Downloading the Spice Local Lingo service is fairly easy. Any subscriber with a GPRS connection can download it from the Spice Portal http://wap.spicetete.com or SMS the keyword 'SLL' to 56199 and get the URL for download, he informed.
