Mangaluru, Sep 12: “Chief minister Siddaramaiah must stop the Cauvery water flowing to Tamil Nadu within 24 hours and go with the feelings of Karnataka,” said former union minister, Janardhana Poojary.

Addressing the media persons in city, he said, “You must stop the Cauvery water immediately in spite of the Supreme Court’s interim order and must respect the feelings of the state. You must stand by the people of the state. Even though you lose power, you should not give the Cauvery water to Tamil Nadu. Follow the guts shown by the then chief minister Bangarappa and stop the flow of water.”

“You don't need to be afraid of Jayalalitha like the leaders of BJP and JDS. The former prime minister Devegowda says that he told Siddu to give the Cauvery water to Tamil Nadu, while his son Kumarswamy is visiting various districts of the state and encouraging people to fight against the court’s order and make them go against the government. It is a political circus by the father-son duo.”

“Let their MPs resign and join the fight. Let all the MPs of the state resign and let there be elections. Let all the corporators of all the municipal corporations including the Bengaluru corporation resign and support the flight.”

“From where can the chief minister let 18 TMC of water to Tamil Nadu? We have only 13 TMC and from where we can get the rest of the water? Now they will give the water to Tamil Nadu and then take away the water from Nethravathi and make this land barren. Along with two former chief ministers, Siddharamiah has said that he will implement it.”

“I question the stand of the prime minister and the union government for not taking any action. Union minister Sadananda Gowda says that the state government has failed to give water to Karnataka but why the same thing doesn't apply to the union government? Let the prime minister convene the meeting of three chief ministers of Cauvery Basin and solve the issue. Let the state BJP president urge the prime minister to do this,” Poojary added.

    WHAT POOJARY SAYS IS RIGHT.
LET CM SIDDU TAKE THE DELEGATION TO MODI WITH HIS REAL CONCERN INSTEAD OF BLINDLY FOLLOWING SUPREME COURT ORDERS.
PEOPLE HAVE CONCERN FOR WATER SHORTAGE BUT GOVT. DO NOT HAVE.
IF GOVT. CANNOT HANDLE THE ISSUE THERE IS NO POINT IN BLAMING PM.
