I have been up to a lot in the last year: Nimrat

New Delhi, Sep 13 (IANS): After delivering a critically acclaimed film "Airlift" earlier this year, Nimrat Kaur is yet to sign her next Bollywood project. The actress, who was busy shooting for "Wayward Pines" in Vancouver for most of the year, says she is back and "getting into the groove of things" here.

The actress says she was caught up with her personal as well as professional life, but she is not complaining.

"Well, I have been up to a lot in the last year, it is really been a whirlwind. January was when 'Airlift' released, and it was like one thing after the other and before you knew it, it was all over and then my sister was getting married so that was like a month of festivities and madness, and during my sister's wedding came up a job that required me to spend almost half a year in Vancouver," Nimrat told IANS in an email interview.

Noticed for her work in Indian film "The Lunchbox", Nimrat landed a role as a Pakistani ISI agent in American show "Homeland", and then bagged a role in TV series "Wayward Pines". She was shooting for the Manoj Night Shyamalan's TV series -- aired in India on Star World Premiere HD.

The actress, who became part of the launch of Audi A4 here along with former India skipper Ravi Shastri, and Joe King, Head, Audi India, on Friday night, also shared that the year was a bundle of "unpredictable surprises" for her.

She said: "I was filming 'Wayward Pines' there for Fox Network. So, I have literally just come back and I am just about kind of getting into the groove of things here. So ya, it's really been... probably the most unpredictable, incredible year that I could have had so far."

Talking about her association with Audi, Nimrat said: "I think Audi as a brand and as a company stands for all things progressive, incredibly sexy and very very edgy, and this is something which is pretty visible in the newly launched A4 too."
