Sullia: KSRTC bus-scooter collision at Adkar, rider dies on spot

Sullia, Sep 13: A young rider lost his life on the spot after the Honda Activa scooter he was riding collided with the KSRTC bus at Adkar near Sullia on Tuesday, September 13 morning.

The deceased is identified as Udayakumar (39), son of Velayudha from Jalsoor Village.

The KSRTC bus was plying towards Mangaluru while the scooter was coming from the opposite direction.

A case has been registered at Sullia police station.

The police personnel from Sullia said that this was the case of overspeeding from both the sides and the driver of the bus has not been arrested so far.

    Overspending reckless driving causes accidents and death . Please avoid overspending speed thrills but it kills too feeling sad every time I hear a accident related death and it makes me depressed.
