Puttur, Sep 14: In an accident which took place at Pullottu in Shiradi village on national highway 75 on Tuesday September 13 afternoon, the bike rider lost his life.
Jaison (23), resident of Bannur here, who was riding the motor bike, had suffered critical injuries in the accident. He died in a private hospital at Mangaluru later in the day.
Jaison was pursuing diploma education at Hassan. He was coming in his motor bike from Hassan to Bannur on Tuesday when a lorry moving from Mangaluru to Bengaluru hit him. Jaison, who was thrown to the road in the accident, had suffered grave injuries to his head and various other body parts.
