Daijiworld Media Network-Mangaluru (RJP)

Mangaluru, Sep 15: Most parts of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts received good rains on Wednesday September 14, much to the relief of people who have been waiting for good showers for the past fortnight.

Mangaluru city received light rains throughout the day with intervals.

Puttur, Madanthyar, Belthangady, Uppinangadi, Bantwal, Mulky, and Sullia areas of Dakshina Kannada district received good rains from morning.

Udupi Manipal, Karkala and Kundapur areas of Udupi district also received mild to moderate rains from morning to evening.

People in Sullia and Uppinangadi said that they saw red coloured rain droplets. Experts said that there is no worry in those droplets as it was because of dust factor.

Forget about the Coastal region. Dont be selfish. All are concerned about Kaveri river as it is going to be empty. Let the rain water flow to KRS which will make them happy. Thats all.

good to hear, but wrong time to announce such kind of statements... TN is increasing it's demand day by day. If they see this message, they may ask for some more justifying Karnataka is getting enough rain... On a serious note, think twice before publishing...
