Mangaluru: Revenue minister directs officials to dispose applications 94A, 94B by Dec

Mangaluru, Sep 16: State revenue minister Kagodu Thimmappa directed revenue officials in the district to dispose applications pertaining to 94 A and 94 B under form 50 and 53 by December end.

He was holding district level review meeting with revenue officers at DC’s office here on Thursday September 15.

“Hereafter, the village accountants and Tahsildar have to hold meeting once in week and initiate actions. Senior officers should monitor this. All taluk level meetings should be completed in district by the end of December 2016. If village accountants, Tahsildars and EO failed to comply the directives then they will be transferred,” minister warned.

“In district under 94 A, 113720 applications pertaining to 250805 acres of land were received. In which 46141, applications pertaining to 59624 land acres were disposed, 64905 applications were rejected and 2684 applications pertaining to 17897 acres of land yet to be disposed.” he added.

“In district under 94 B, 1113730 applications pertaining to 232183 acres of land were received. In which 28571 applications pertaining to 37705 acres of land were sanctioned (Sakrama), 46777 were rejected and 26039 applications pertaining to 87089 acres of land yet to be disposed,” said deputy commissioner KG Jagadish.

Kagodu Thimappa further said, “Under the supervision of Tahsildar, village accountant and panchayat development officers should take initiative to receive the application for 94 C and 94CC.”

“In district under 94C, 59920 applications were received in which 11518 applications were sanctioned, 14466applications rejected and34036 application yet to be disposed. 11110 title deeds were already given. In district under 94CC, 21841 applications were received, 135 approved, 12 applications rejected and 21694 applications yet to be disposed,” said DC.

District minister B Ramanath Rai, state minister UT Khader, MLC IVan D' Souza, Abaychandra Jain, JR Lobo, Moideen Bhava among others were present.

Under 94C and 94CC, in city and rural areas, officers will collect the applications.

Udupi: Revenue works progressing in right directions- Kagodu Thimmappa

Udupi, Sep 16: “Revenue department related works are going well in the district with some glitch here and there,” said state revenue minister Kagodu Thimmappa after progress review meeting at DC’s office at Rajatadri, Manipal on Thursday, September 15.

“We need to speed up works as the Chief Minister has launched ‘Rajya Phodi Mukta Grama Abhiyan’ (Rectifying errors in right to tenancy certificates (RTC) issued to farmers) and they are working towards it.” he added.

“On Kumki land, government has ordered to approve land to those who have filled form 53. Under one time operation, as per the law, there is an instruction while approving land for SC, that is the department, should verify more than one evidence out of thirteen evidences.

“All issues which are connected to land should be closed by the end of December this year. We have extended two months for submitting 94 CC application for town people and October 27 is last date for submit 94 C applicants,” said Kagodu.

“The government intends to provide RTC for land holders and make them stay permanently. Village accountant and village level officer should work out the map and should visit house to house in this regard.The purpose of government is to make the people free from all problems and making the land owner’s independent. One should get his right to enjoy his own land. There is lot of confusions in form 9/11. To remove doubts we will call a meeting for all the MLAs soon in Bengaluru.” Kagodu said.

Regarding burning Cauvery water dispute, he said, “Supreme Court has ordered verdict on it and everyone should respect and obey it. State is facing acute shortage of water, yet we need to respect the verdict.”

District-in-charge Minister Pramod Madhwaraj, deputy commissioner Venkatesh, Additional DC Anuradha and others were present during the press meet.
