Udupi: Bhaskar murder- Niranjan Bhat sent to CID custody for two days

Udupi, Sep 16: Niranjan Bhat, self proclaimed astrologer and one of the three main accused in sensational Bhaskar Shetty murder case, has been sent to Criminal Investigations Department (CID) custody for two days. The decision was made by the court here on Thursday September 15, after CID moved an application requesting his custody.

This is an interesting turn in the case as CID, who took over the investigations from police, is taking one of the main accused into custody for the first time. All the five accused who are in judicial custody are scheduled to be produced in court on September 19. In between, as the CID asked for Niranjan Bhat’s custody, the court granted it.



Srinivas Bhat and Raghavendra, two persons accused of destroying evidence, are in Hiriadka jail while three main accused, Rajeshwari , the wife of Bhaskar Shetty, their son Navaneet shetty and Niranjan Bhat are lodged in district prison in Mangaluru.

    Readers,
    this case is a good example of how a corrupt police officer can save the people whom he wants. This case is like sending a patient from one doctor to another.

    Anyway the former circle inspector of manipal should be given a rajya prashasthi for his role in the investigation.

    Interesting,,,Now CID will take him to his 'Homa Kunda" and Kalkar and Kadandale rivers one more(7th) time...let him take a holy dip in these rivers...

    Then CID can file Chargesheet...he will deny everything he said to CID in court and will say he was tortured....and he was made to confess that he killed John F Kennedy as well....

    Now there will some hopes that bhat will open his mouth when CID uses 3rd degree if there is no any influence of political hand just like the a accused gets a bail who fixes mobile camera in ladies toilet to make a video of ladies.
