Bengaluru: DySP Ganapathi suicide - brother questions sincerity behind CID probe

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (SP)

Bengaluru, Sep 19: M K Machaiah, younger brother of DySP, M K Ganapathi, has expressed disappointment at the fact that the criminal investigation department (CID) officials have filed 'B' report in the court, giving clean chit to former minister, K J George, and senior police officers, A M Prasad and Pranav Mohanty, in the suicide case of his elder brother. He has questioned the sincerity of the investigation conducted by CID, and demanded investigation by Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

Speaking to media persons here on Sunday September 18, he pointed out that the CID has failed to find out reasons behind Ganapathy choosing to end his life at Madikeri, although his place of work was Mangaluru. He also accused the department of trying to bury truth behind the entire episode when filing 'B' report in the court.

DySP M K Ganapathi

He felt that the entire CID investigation was backed by the aim of shielding K J George, A M Prasad and Pranav Mohanty. He therefore felt that the case deserves an impartial inquiry and for this to happen, he demanded for handing over the case to CBI.

Machaiah expressed suspicion about the entire process of investigation conducted by CID. He wanted to know as to how officers of the level of superintendents of police can question officers who are of ADGP and IGP rank. He felt that in the guise of investigation, CID has worked to protect these persons.

The high handed and ruthless police action on innocent people peacefully protesting the ugly and shameful attacks on Christian places of worship in Sept 2008 is still fresh in our minds. This police officer had brazenly breached his restraint to inflict heavy injury and maimed several protesters including members of the clergy. Cowards die many times.

The biggest problem is he did this extreme step during Congress government. Had he did this in BJP rule there was no question of CID or CBI.

He's conveniently forgot to mention 1984 Sikh riots - 5000 massacred by Congress goons even which Rahul Gandhi acknowledged publicly

People like Jagdish Tytler and Kamal Nath, Sajjan Kumar etc were involved & still fighting legal battles. This Genocide takes the No: 1 position in mass massacre

With Sonia Narang heading the CID inquiry no partisan investigation or B report can be expected as I had predicted then. Nobody can influence her as she had proved in Lokayukta Corruption case as well.
I had predicted with just a tv interview with no corroborating evidence the diseased Ganapathi knew he had no chance of wriggling out of his corruption & criminal acts of past which were due to be investigated.
With no evidence to prove his innocence but every possibility of him being found guilty he had no other option but to commit suicide to escape the noose tightening around his neck. But before going down he wanted to pull his higher ups too, but failed miserably in the end.

That is why we have to handover the issue to CBI. Because they can go deep and find out who is responsible also...

Don't worry, people want to know the truth and the case will be given to CBI when BJP comes to power...
