Mangaluru, Sep 19: A family had a miraculous escape when a tree fell on the house while they were sleeping

The house belongs to Ismail (58) at Kadabari in Jappinamogaru here. Ahmed Aziz (22), one of the occupants, has been injured and treated.

Seven people were sleeping in the house when the tree fell at around 12.30 am on Monday, September 19.

The tiled roof of the house has been damaged. The loss is estimated to be Rs 2 lac.

Fortunately, it looks like a dried up branch of the tree and people are saved from major injuries. From the condition of the house it is clear that they are stricken by poverty.
How they will recover the loss and get badly needed help is another question.
