Kundapur: Kota police sub-inspector Kabbalraj resigns, harassment rumoured

Kundapur, Sep 22: It is learnt that Kota police sub-inspector (PSI) Kabbal Raj has resigned from his post.

It is heard that harassment from senior officials has made Kabbal Raj, known as clean and honest officer to tender his resignation.

Kabbalraj has been reportedly targeted by Udupi superintendent of police (SP) for having gone to set right the land dispute in Airodi grama panchayat limits.  He submitted the resignation after the developments.



SP K T Balakrishna speaking to reporters said that he has come to know of the propaganda.  “No resignation has reached me.  We will be sorting out our differences through discussions,” he said.

It is now said that Kabbalraj even had the inclination to participate in the statewide protests that took place some months back condemning the harassment by senior officials.  He had also resigned when Annamalai was SP of Udupi. However Annamalai had solved the problem with discussions, said sources.

    Go to Google map satellite View, type mogebettu ...the silver colored patches are huge granite hills flattened up and once green cover with native trees is completely removed without traces.

    The same granite mafia runs several other things and put pressure on honest officials

    Thats the problem always from Seniors when younger ones are not ready to go with Seniors "dirty politics" .Either they have to do what Seniors tell or they have to go.Such Problems make younger ones to suffer.many times Seniors give reports to their higher ones and make them bad.But junior ones too are sometimes make Senior officer dont respect,think I am much better than you.Always better work together as a Team.Seniors too should respect Juniors .Here SI.should have not resigned ,but respect him and work together to a certain extent (be a honest one).Nowadays a good Job is not very easy to get,and certificate too is needed from previous Job.Hope they unite in a good way.

    Most of the rich joined Police force( you know how ) but its a tough job. So far they enjoyed collecting bribe. these days life getting difficult. You dont have choice either resign or commit suicide. Very soon politicians & all govt officials will face the same days. that is democracy. You dont work blame harassment, ask for cbi inquiry all will cometo an end.

    Modern generation is very sensitive, few are very arrogant, cannot handle stress and over load.No department is safe if there is dis obedience and lack of discipline. Police and soldiers are bound to serve on limits and rules of the department and direction of commanding officer.

    All together should write a book about what's happening in police department and how chor ministers trying to use them as puppets. This type of harassment never reported in any states with any other government.

    Yes Kusuma They can work without fear of seniors or politicians if they posted in kashmir or nexalites area because these areas.
    These officer having problem before also when Anamalai is in UDUPI.
    May be getting low minerals in this area.

    Where there is not harassment in this society ?

    If seniors harass (Strict) then only juniors works perfectly in most of cases. otherwise juniors taking most of advantages.

    pls not that he has been transfered from bantwal after he seized lorries illegally transporting sand to Bangalore but I dont think so that RSS also dealing with SAND pls go throuh below link

    this is the key factor for all the problem in the society today. Most of the police officers are capable of handling the situation , if allowed to handle freely , with out any interference by political leaders or higher authorities.

    Unfortunately other side plays a stronger role and end of the day, either the honest officers will give up or resign to safeguard themselves and their family.

    Pity on our system.
