Bengaluru: Congress high command approves return of George into ministry

Bengaluru, Sep 23: Reliable sources said that Congress high command has given its nod for re-induction of K J George into the state ministry.

Chief minister, Siddaramaiah, who had visited New Delhi to discuss Cauvery water dispute, is said to have discussed the matter of George's entry back into the state cabinet. George had resigned as minister of Bengaluru development and town planning under pressure after deputy superintendent of police, M K Ganapathi, committed suicide in a Madikeri lodge after naming George as well as two senior police officers as responsible for his harassment in a television interview.



The chief minister met state Congress in-charge, Digvijay Singh, at New Delhi and gave him detailed information relating to Cauvery river water imbroglio. During this period, he also raised the issue of taking George back into the ministry in view of clean chit given by criminal investigation department which probed the case.

It is learnt that the high command has asked Siddaramaiah to wait till the Cauvery river water row currently raging the state settles down before including George into the ministry.

    Mr. George is running a business chain in Bangalore and around and political support is required to drive his business activities against the rule of land. On the other hand, he is a good source of funds to Congress and displeasing him will cost scarce resources and few minority votes. Return of Mr. George to Ministry is a predrawn conclusion. CM has climbed on rooftop to he is innocent even before CID commenced investigations. Congress has once again successfully proved all of us are fools.....!

    That is exactly the stand taken by Modi, his government and Bakhts so that Karnataka will suffer and help TN for vote bank politics.

    If there is no water in late Feb and March next year, many key cities in Karnataka like Bangalore will have major issues and BJP then blame for state government for not taking steps earlier.

    Don't read half stories and comment, first nidderammaya himself agreed in supreme court that he will release 10000 cusecs of water to TN. Did he consulted all party or Modi before agreeing same.? This is the last chance for chor ministers to earn in a state for chor party so they have to bring in big chors to make some quick money...

    no wonder and surprise... expected... CID will not do such a big mistake of calling these superior officers of theirs as criminals involved in that murder case. Of course no. so, the investigation executed as per the pre-planned agenda, giving all three a clean chit and now siddu , so eagerly and quickly calling George in to ministry. everything was planned.
