Media Release Doha, Sep 24: Bunts Qatar and MOI Qatar jointly organized a traffic awareness programme on Thursday September 22 evening at the Ashoka Hall of ICC Qatar.
Faisal Al Hudawi, community reach out office co-coordinator, public relations department Ministry of Interior Qatar gave an information presentation to the audience on traffic rules in Qatar and safety measures, drivers should follow while driving there. He highlighted the actions that can be taken by drivers during accidents on Qatar roads.First lieutenant Abdul Wahid Ghareeb Al Anazai, traffic awareness officer, general directorate of traffic-Qatar thanked the Bunts here for their valuable support in organizing the programme. He praised the association for the arrangement and said that it was the first among the Indian community to come forward to organize it.President Navaneeth Shetty welcomed the gathering. ICC president Girish Kumar was chief guest, president Tulu Koota Qatar and MD ATS group Qatar was the guest of honor. Shwetha Dinaraj Shetty was the host for the evening.Bunts Qatar thanked Ashwin Shetty and Hariprasad Shetty, ATS team members for helping them in arranging the stage and venue and for all the logistics support. They also thanked the volunteers Sudhir Appu, Subramanya Hebaggilu for all their support. The event came to an end with the vote of thanks by the general secretary Roshan Shetty.
