Mr. World walks the runway for Nivedita Saboo at PFW finale


Pune, Sep 26 (IANS): The sixth edition of the Pune Fashion Week (PFW), presented by BVLGARI, concluded with a show by designer Nivedita Saboo for which Mr. World Rohit Khandelwal walked the runway.

Saboo showcased a collection that had an amalgamation of myriad glistening colours of frosty English evenings, varied heritage techniques and elaborate silhouettes as she showcased English renaissance set on this side of the Deccan plateau, Circa 2016.

The collection remoulds traditional hand-work, combining it with the designer's signature techniques of pleating, appliqué work and quilting to present a runway that is brought to life with its classically romantic silhouettes.

Capturing the poetic elegance and the romanticism of the Shakespearean times, the collection flirted with ruffles and drapes, creating layers to unify the abstract with the fluid in a palette comprising of frozen lavender, rose quartz, old rose, celtic and moonshine grey, sage green, tigerlilly peach, salmon to scarlet.

From constructed corsets and royal sherwanis, avant-garde lehengas, versatile gowns with lattice-work collars, gun-metal and gold surface ornamentation on classic Indian silhouettes, the line-up had everything for women who wants to looks beuatiful,

Rohit looked dashing as he walked the ramp for Nivedita as the showstopper for the grand finale.
